The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in partnership with the U.S. Dry Bean Council (USDBC) developed the webinar Versatile Applications and Taste Profiles of Beans and Bean Flours. The event took place on September 9, 2021, at 9:30 am (Brasília time). Consumers are increasingly considering food’s nutrient value when choosing meals or snacks. In addition, climate change concerns and the desire to consume sustainably produced foods that still taste great and offer high nutrient value have raised the profile of beans around the globe.
