USDA Visits Brown-Forman Office in Brazil

ATO Sao Paulo Visits Brown-Forman Office in Brazil: On May 29th, ATO Sao Paulo visited Brown-Forman office in Brazil, aiming to increase knowledge of the dynamics of the spirits market in Brazil. In addition to that, ATO’s objective was to discuss a closer collaboration between USDA Brazil and Brown-Forman, with the goal of promoting U.S. food products within the Brazilian market. Mr. Andre Duarte, Commercial Manager in Brown-Forman Brazil also discussed some challenges to the consumption of spirits in Brazil and requested to keep working close to USDA Brazil to address issues that may affect the efforts of U.S. exporters of spirits to expand its presence in the Brazilian market. ATO also proposed to develop next year an activity to promote U.S. spiritis along with U.S. beef in a partnership with U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF)
