Versatile applications and taste profiles of beans and bean flours

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in partnership with the U.S. Dry Bean Council (USDBC) will develop the webinar Versatile Applications and Taste Profiles of Beans and Bean Flours. The event will take place on September 9, 2021, at 9:30 am (Brasília time).

It will be discussed how the food industry’s plant-based and sustainable eating trends in the United States drive interest in dry beans. Consumers are increasingly considering food’s nutrient value when choosing meals or snacks. In addition, climate change concerns and the desire to consume sustainably produced foods that still taste great and offer high nutrient value have raised the profile of beans around the globe. Join us to learn more about how dry beans and bean flour can contribute in more ways than just flavor both in the food industry and foodservice sectors.
