On July 16-19, 2023, ATO São Paulo led a group of importers to the IFT Show & Conference in Chicago. The trade show offers an expo featuring 1,000+ exhibiting companies and regularly attracts 23,000 food professionals from more than 90 countries.
ATO staff provided assistance to the team while engaging with U.S. companies during the show and informed U.S. exporters about the Brazilian market. On July 17th, ATO São Paulo organized a meeting with Terri Rexroat from the U.S. Dairy Export Council and with Mr. Richard Waycott from the Almond Board of California (ABC). Both meetings had the objective to promote U.S. food ingredients to Brazilian buyers.
This project is designed to further expand the food ingredients market in Brazil by importing advanced technological food ingredients products that IFT can offer to the Brazilian market, which currently lacks the capability to produce them
