ATO São Paulo will Participate at FiSA with an Institutional Booth

Food Ingredients South America (FiSA) is back after the interruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The event will take place in São Paulo from August 9 to 11, 2022 at São Paulo Expo. The fair’s main target audiences are the food processing industry, importers and distributors of ingredients for human nutrition. The last edition, in 2019, attracted 9,500 visiting professionals, buyers from 41 countries and 700 exhibiting brands. The ingredients most sought after by visitors were functional foods, aromas, natural ingredients, cocoa and derivatives, proteins, plant and herb extracts, sugar, sweeteners and syrups, fibers, food enzymes and fats.

For the 2022 event, organizers estimate the participation of 800 exhibiting brands and more than 12,000 visitors. There will also be virtual content during the three days of the fair and a technical congress aimed at professionals working in the area of research and development of new products.

USDA in FiSA
This year, the Agricultural Trade Office (ATO) in São Paulo will participate with a 12m2 institutional stand, which will be located at G-05. The objective is to offer USDA services and develop new contacts. Other cooperators will participate in FiSA with institutional and promotional stands: U.S. Dairy Export Council, Cranberry Marketing Committee, Food Export Association and Blue Diamond Growers. There will also be a visit from the local representative of the U.S. Dry Bean Council and the chairman of the Almond Board of California, Mr. Richard Waycott. Mr. Waycott will also speak at the FiSA congress, to an audience of approximately 150 people, on the quality and technical aspects of Californian almonds.
