On February 7-8, the State Regional Trade Group representing states in the Midwest and Northeast, Food Export, visited Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro to engage with Brazilian retailers and importers.
FAS Sao Paulo helped support the visits by providing market briefings and explaining how our office can help connect Brazilian importers with U.S. exporters. Food Export also presented the benefits of Food Export’s Branded Program, funding with USDA Market Development Funds. The visit is one of several activities planned by Food Export in the Brazilian market, including an upcoming trade mission.
