The Cranberry Marketing Committee Launches Trade Promotion Program in Brazil

On October 19, 2022, the Cranberry Marketing Committee (CMC) held its first in-person event in Sao Paulo. It was attended by approximately 50 guests from different areas, such as researchers, marketing professionals, nutritionists, importers, and restaurant owners. During the event, guests expanded their knowledge of American cranberries’ versatility and nutritional quality. Also part of the agenda was a sensory experience, in which the fruit was used in various recipes, from starters to desserts.

This activity aims to support the export of cranberries from the U.S. and increase their consumption in Brazil. Initially, the emphasis of CMC’s activities in the country will be on building relationships with the sector and providing technical support and information to retail and industry professionals.

Two CMC representatives attended: the Executive Director, Mr. Daniel Raulerson, and the Director of Marketing, Ms. Shelby Sackett. It was an opportunity for them to interact with industry professionals and understand the dynamics of the Brazilian market.
