Hop Growers of America Featured in Beer Magazine
ven though it has been a challenging year for brewers due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Brazilian craft beer market continues to show resilience, and it is an excellent destination for hops from the United States. To continue engagement with the sector and to expand the exposure to the American hops among key players in the Brazilian craft beer industry, Jaki Brophy from the Hop Growers of America (HGA), with the support of the Agricultural Trade Office (ATO), gave an interview to Revista da Cerveja (Beer Magazine). The article was published in Edition 52 (currently in circulation) of Beer Magazine, which was founded in 2012 and geared toward beer sommeliers, importers, raw material suppliers, bar and restaurant owners, and consultants, among others. Published in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, the magazine is distributed bi-monthly, with a circulation of 8,000 copies in approximately 350 distribution channels in 21 Brazilian states.
