ATO Director participated in the ESALQSHOW

On October 9, Mr. Nicolas Rubio, Agricultural Trade Office (ATO) Director from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in Sao Paulo, participated in the ESALQSHOW on the panel “International Relations in the Agro Sector” to discuss the perspectives and challenges of U.S. and Brazil agricultural sector. Mr. Rubio also gave a presentation about how the United States and Brazil can cooperate in agricultural projects, such as biotechnology, MRL’s legislation, and trade policy agreements. The ESALQSHOW is an event dedicated to encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship in agriculture, presenting products, services, latest industry trends, future challenges, and new ideas. The event was conducted by Esalq/USP and had the support and attendance of approximately 3,000 professionals, from established scholars and researchers to leaders of major companies and startups, as well as students, from all over Brazil and the world.
